Nexxus Lighting Set to Sponsor TBR at Bristol
New Array™ Lighting brand of LED light bulbs are the “truly
green” alternative to CFL light bulbs
“We are honored to sponsor Tommy Baldwin Racing for the Bristol
race,” said Mike Bauer, President & CEO of Nexxus Lighting. “With
the focus NASCAR is putting on their “green” initiatives,
we decided that working with Tommy Baldwin and his small business
platform to support growing companies was a great place to promote
our new Array™ Lighting brand of LED light bulbs. NASCAR
is a leader in creating brand awareness and Tommy Baldwin and his
team, like all upstart companies, are driven to perform at the
highest level. We are excited about the potential exposure for
our company and our new Array™ Lighting products. We are
hoping for a good qualifying run by Scott Riggs so that the car
and our Array™ brand will have the good fortune to be featured
in the Food City 500.”
Array™ Lighting is a new brand of commercial grade LED replacement lamps
that utilize patent pending technology to offer a truly green alternative to
conventional incandescent, halogen and compact fluorescent light bulbs. Array
lamps are light weight, dimmable, reduce CO2 emissions and, unlike compact fluorescent
light bulbs, do not contain mercury or create a hazardous waste disposal issue.
Additionally, Array™ lamps offer tremendous cost and energy saving which
can amount to over 80 percent energy savings versus incandescent bulbs. More
savings can be gained in avoiding lamp replacement costs due to the bulb’s
50,000 hour lamp life, as compared to only 1000-2000 hours for typical incandescent
bulbs. Array bulbs can last over 10 years while being burned 12 hours a day.
“I am really excited to have Nexxus Lighting and their new Array™ Lighting
brand on our car this weekend,” Baldwin said. I think they have some
amazing products that can save American businesses a lot of money on their
energy costs. Hopefully, we will have a good weekend and will make them
proud to be part of our team.”
The Food City 500 will be televised live Sun., March 22nd beginning at 1:30 p.m.
EST on FOX and will be broadcast live on PRN and Sirius/XM Satellite Radio.
Nexxus Lighting is a leader in advanced lighting technology, including solid-state
LED and fiber optic lighting systems and controls used in commercial, architectural,
signage, swimming pool, entertainment and retail lighting. Nexxus Lighting sells
its products through its Commercial Lighting, Lumificient and Nexxus Lighting
Pool & Spa divisions under the Array™ Lighting, Savi®, eLum™,
LiveLED™, Super Vision® and Lumificient™ brand names.
